Kapitein Murphy en zijn bergingsbemanning verdienen de kost met het lokaliseren, opknappen en naar de wal slepen van verlaten schepen. Als op een dag piloot Ferriman hen attendeert op een vreemd schip dat hij bij de kust van Alaska zag drijven, besluiten ze het schip te onderzoeken.
